JOURNEY TO ROYAL, tells the story of Lt. Royal A. Stratton, a 22-year-old rescue pilot who died heroically saving the lives of nine of his fellow airmen in the South Pacific during WWII. Royal and his Squadron flew into extremely dangerous combat zones, without any munitions, for the sole purpose of saving lives. 862 missions were flown, totaling over 6000 hours of flying time for the Squadron, resulting in the rescue of 577 men. This Indiegogo page was created to help raise funds for transporation to the remaining WWII veterans to be interviewed, in order to preserve their stories and legacy.
