Probably single most important German armoured vehicle in World War II hands down. And strangely kind of underrated, but if you look at the numbers it was real success, also most produced German armoured vehicle. Sure it was outclassed in later years but when you look at the big picture it was the real hero of the war .
That looks immaculate! Like the day it rolled out of the factory! Here we can see a beautiful original Sturmgeschütz III F/8 starting, revving and driving in reverse, during Tanks in Town, an event taking place in Belgium and commemoring the liberation of Mons in september 1944.
This particular StuG III was restored by the team of the War Heritage Institute, and has its original V12 Maybach! Listen to this masterpiece!
