In September 2015, Team WWIIMD visited the former battlefields of the eastern front, where heavy fighting took place in early 1945. In the search for war relics they discovered some amazing finds that they will share in our newest battlefield research video. They found items like German combat awards, German helmets, Waffen SS items, MG34 / weapon parts etc. 

They also found equipment pieces and other interesting things that were left behind in the woods after the war.
