We are a small but dedicated group who have a passion for History and WW2. Our numbers are in line with an infantry section, of about 12 men. We try to portray to the public a realistic view and of men and equipment belonging to the 2nd Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment. We wear uniforms along with weapons and kit similar to what was used around 6th June 1944 D-Day.
Most of our display are original items from that period in time, which gives the public a real hands on experience, rather than looking at similar items in a museum behind glass.
The collections we display are purchased privately by all of our members, and we are happy for the public to handle and ask questions.
We do several events up and down the country throughout the summer months, attended with other groups doing similar things to educate the public and help keep alive the memory of the men and women who gave so much for us today.
