This is an amazing find. Our friends of militaryfinder1945 have found a real King Tiger battlefield found on the eastern front. Is this place where Kurt Knispel or Kurt Panzermeyer fought? They found a traces. Concretely, three huge King Tiger ammunition casings!

The 88 mm KwK 43 L/71 was an 88 mm 71 calibre tank gun designed by Krupp and it was the primary armament of the Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B Tiger II or King Tiger. The cartridge was considerably long (at 82.2 cm) and wide, allowing for a much heavier propellant charge.

As militaryfinder1945 say, please don't skip the video, just sit back and enjoy their adventure. Always discovering and metal detecting history, WWII battlefields, relic hunting, digging up guns and medals, magnetfishing and much more...
