The STG44 was debuted on the battlefield in 1943. One of the cool features of STG44 as an assault rifle was a use of innovatinve Kurz 7.92×33mm cartridge - with just the right impact force for a long range/low recoil. German made weapons were some of the very, very best, if not THE best!
