Photo's Only - M4A1(76)W Sherman La Roche-en-Ardenne, Belgium. This M4A1(76)W Sherman with nickname AMBOY was placed in 2004in the town of La Roche-en-Ardenne as a memorial. It replaced a M26 Pershing tank that was on the same spot. That M26 Pershing went to Le Camp Roi Albert in Marche.
This Sherman was knocked out during the Battle of the Bulge, it was hit by a German howitzer leaving a big howl in the front of the superstructure and it was hit two times by a anti tank gun. one hit in the gun mantlet that went straight through and one in the superstructure the impact killed the crew instantly.
