Veterans gathered to watch the dedication of a new memorial to the Durham Light Infantry in the Market Place, Durham City. A statue to commemorate the men who served with the Durham Light Infantry brought memories back for the veterans who gathered to see its unveiling. During the Second World War fought in every theatre, from northern France to Italy and Japan.
