Combined Ops is only a week away and today one of the unique spectacular flying displays expected at Combined Ops has landed in the UK. Not one but TWO Avro Lancaster Bombers will be part of the BBMF display on both days.

One the most amazing sights in the skies is always the arrival of the Lancaster and Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF). The RAF's Lancaster is one of the only two airworthy Lancaster’s out of the thousands that were ever built and we are honoured and excited to have the only other airworthy Lancaster in the world! (the Avro Lancaster from the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum) attend both Saturday and Sunday and provide a full display with the other BBMF aircraft. This will be one of the very few opportunities to see both Lancasters flying together in the UK. The Aerodrome attracts lots of vintage aircraft, some come from all over the country.  Throughout each day aircraft are always landing and taking off, its certainly a busy weekend for air traffic control. If you have never been close to these amazing machines and their pilots then now is the time...

The show is spread out across many acres and has a vast array of exciting displays and exhibits, together with a large variety of stalls to purchase those all important goodies.
