Lovely restoration of M36, ex Slovenia, section 1 FAC required, running a T54 v12 diesel. M36 # 300- 7/31/44 Full of history! # 300 was the last ever M36 built by the Fisher Tank arsenal and the last of 1 through 300 that were "Redballed" from the factory to the front line- arrived in Sept/Oct 1944 and served with 2nd or 3rd armored and still has its wounds to prove it.

The M36 tank destroyer, formally 90 mm Gun Motor Carriage, M36, was an American tank destroyer used during World War II. American soldiers usually referred to them as TDs for 'tank destroyers'. The M36 first served in combat in Europe in September 1944, and served until the end of the war; it also served during the Korean War, and in the armies of several other countries, among them Slovenia Army.
