What happens when you mess with the US Navy? Hyuga was an Ise-class battleship of the Imperial Japanese Navy. In 1943, Hyuga was converted into a hybrid battleship/ aircraft carrier. She was bombed and sunk by carrier-based aircraft of the US Navy on July 24th, 1945, at Kure Harbor, Japan.
