More warbirds now to commemorate fighter command during the Battle of Britain. A mass take off of Spitfires, Hurricanes and a Buchon all filling the skies over RAF Fairford. Whilst the formation gathered a Griffon powered Spitfire was in a dogfight with the Buchon before a mass of Merlin and Griffon power filled the air.
The aircraft involved were;

  • Hawker Hurricane AE977- Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar
  • Hawker Hurricane BE505- Hangar 11 Collection
  • Hawker Hurricane PZ865
  • Hawker Hurricane LF363

with Hawker Hurricane P3700- Historic Aircraft Collection in the static park and R4118 was around but not sure she flew?
