Wow! I cann't believe it was in such good condition after being submerged in water for 6+ decades. The chassis looks like it can still function. Its amazing that the treads and roadwheels still turn after all those years. This is a true sign of quality. German engineering at its finest.

This SuG IV was recovered from the small river Rgilewka in Grzegorzew in July 2008. Two years prior, in 2006, they managed to recover the superstructure with the cannon. By the way, the vehicle was completely restored and can now move on its own thanks to the efforts of technicians from the Museum of Armored Vehicles of the Polish Army Armored Unit Training Center. The staffers are the organizers of this operation.
