Schedule of Events: Open to the public from 9:00am to 5:00 pm

Saturday October 11:

  • Remember our Veterans 10am at the American Legion Memorial
  • First Battle 11:00 am
  • Second Battle 3:00 pm
  • Navy Band 5:00 pm
  • 1940s style USO Dinner Dance at Legion Hall
  • Live music from Spencer Keys 
  • Dinner 5-7pm Dance 7-10pm Tickets: $18.00 for Dinner and Dance $10.00 Dance only

Sunday October 12: Battle 11:00am


  • Free admission
  • Living history depictions of WWII 
  • Battle Simulations
  • Area WWII veterans honored
  • Army, Navy, Air Force and USMC Displays
  • Fund Raiser for Operation Comfort Warrior
  • The Navy Band
  • Militaria Vendors
  • Food vending from area restaurants

For the WWII Reenactors:

  • Complimentary Breakfast Saturday and Sunday.
  • Lunch provided on Saturday.
  • Campfires allowed and firewood provided.
  • Camping onsite encouraged.
  • 2 battles on Saturday and one on Sunday.
  • Security provided by the Franklin Park Police.
  • Inquire about free WWII heavy vehicle transportation.
  • Limited supply of blanks provided for those participating in the battles.
  • Area WWII veterans in attendance including a paratrooper from the 82nd Airborne
