It's a Continental R-975 C4 radial engine. It sounds exactly like an airplane engine should. Shitty at idle and powerful at speed. Beautiful engine sound!! 12 cylinders diesel!! The T-34/85 gave the Red Army a tank with better armour and mobility than the German Panzer IV. This model became the standard Soviet medium tank, with an uninterrupted production run until the end of the war.
