This color footage of the Japanese surrender ceremony on board the battleship USS Missouri (BB-63) on 2 September 1945, was filmed by Commander George F. Kosco. In 2010, the Kosco family had the film restored, and the footage is presented now for viewing by the public.

This video shows the damaged Japanese battleship Nagato in September 1945 at Yokosuka harbor. She was the flagship of the Imperial Japanese Navy and the leadship of the Nagato-class battleships. On 18 July 1945, Nagato was bombed and badly damaged by carrier-based aircraft of the US Navy.
